Begüm’ün yaptığı gibi bütün hesaplarımı dondurup kafa dinleyesim var. Dünya acayip başımı döndürmeye başladı. İnsanların peşinde koşmaktan da bıktım. Görüştüğüm, saydığım insanlarla zaten birlikteyim. Biraz daha böyle giderse kısa bir mesaj yazıp sanal dünyadan kendimi soyutlayacağım.

5. I’m about graduate, there’s an economical crisis and I hate my major. Now, it’s time to look for reasons to be an optimist.
6. I have a piano recital to attend in 12 days. It’s the most formal one. There’s going to be a jury and all. Makes me nervous indeed.
7. I think I’m going to watch Reality Bites again after watching The Last Kiss for the 538592365986th time.
8. I still can’t believe I’m about to watch The L Word’s first episode. Estrogen secreted somewhere other than my body scares me 
9. I really need a vacation of any kind.

Buraya ne zaman bir şeyler yazacak olsam sonradan saçma bulup yazmaya üşeniyorum ve fikir değiştirip ya yazdığımı siliyorum ya da aynen firefox’u kapatıp çıkıyorum. Siteyi de amacına uygun kullanamıyorum zaten tezden ötürü. Aslında Sertaç’la burada web dilleri üzerine çalışmalar yapmamız gerekiyordu ama gel gör ki değil çalışma, proje, vs. yapmak; Zend’de bu işlerle ilgili bir php ya da css dosyası bile oluşturmadım. Tezde de ne yapacağımı bilmiyorum zaten. Pfff…

Eski sitemde acayip içimi dökerdim şimdi öyle yazılar da yazmıyorum. Gitgide ruhsuz mu oldum nedir? (Böyle tatsız tuzsuz pilav gibi hissediverdim kendimi birden bunu yazınca) En son hikaye türünden bir şey yazalı bir seneden fazla oldu sanırım. Bari başladığım şarkıları bitirsem! Aklımda bir sürü proje var, tek yaptığım her şeyi ertelemek. Bana kesinlik lazım sanırım; fazla havada kaldım.

PS: Bu arada deli gibi Restaurant City’ye sardım kendimi alamıyorum adeta. Ne yaptın böyle Güneş?

Az önce Paris, Je T’aime (doğru mu yazdım?) adlı filmi izledim. Gayet başarılı bir film. Bundan bir kaç sene önce New York, I Love You ismin taşıyan ve festivallerde tanıtılan bir filme rastlamıştım. Bu sene içinde ABD başta olmak üzere bir kaç ülkede daha gösterime girecek diye biliyorum. Paris, Je T’aime filmini bu vesile ile buldum. Zira yanlış hatırlamıyorsam aynı ekip New York filmini çekecek.

Paris, Je T’aime tahmin edebileceğiniz gibi Paris’te geçmekte fakat isminde je t’aime olduğu için bütün filmin bir kaç klişe aşk hikayesinden ibaret olduğunu düşünüyorsanız yanılıyorsunuz. Bir sürü insanın hayatına kısa bir süre eşlik etme sunuyor film izleyicisine. Anlatımı o kadar güzel ki bu kısa süre içerisinde karaktere yabancılık çekmiyor ve hakkında bir sürü detay öğrenebiliyorsunuz. Crash filmindeki gibi olmasa da bu insanların hepsi filmin sonunda bir bütüne bağlanıyor. Mekanlar, insanlar ve özellikle müzikler çok hoş. Bunlardan ayrı olarak filmi izlemeniz için bir neden sunmam gerekirse şunu diyebilirim: Natalie Portman filmin kadrosunda. Tanrım o kadındaki yeteneği diğer insancıklara bölsen olmuyor muydu? Hepsi bir yerde toplanınca hiç adaletli olmadı, sadece söylemek istedim.

Sonuç olarak filmi kesinlikle öneriyorum. Kesinlikle insanı yormayan, sıkmayan fakat 2 saat boyunca hoş bir yolculuğa çıkarmayı başaran bir film. Edinip izleyiniz.

PS: Ayrıca şunu da söylemek istedim: Öyle filmdeki gibi bir dünya yok ya da var da bizim haberimiz yok. Her şekilde batsın bu dünya. Şu dediklerim bir anlam ifade etmiyor olabilir ama izleyince eminim bu notumu anlayacaksınız.

We will go step by step:

1. The first step: Stop lying to yourself. It’s self-destructive and time consuming. No, things are not okay. No, you will not be able to finish that assignment on time. Yes, you will fail miserably on the quiz/midterm tomorrow.
2. Take a deep breath.
3. Try to get used to the idea of failing; lower your expectations.
4. If you have absolutely no idea how to complete the assignment you have and if the half-done assignments are graded STOP WASTING YOUR TIME! Learn to be humble. If x>0, x= love. Be thankful for any value of x. You will get a grade lower than that eventually. Hence, live in the moment.
5. Question yourself: Are you okay with failing? If the answer is yes, get yourself a drink and go to bed. If not proceed.
6. Study for the exam you have tomorrow. Go over examples, your notes and slides. Textbooks do contain all the knowledge you need but do you need all of them for the exam? No, you cannot judge me for this step. If you were intrigued enough you would already be ready for your quizzes and midterms. We are trying to find a way to survive the day here.
7. Use time effectively. Spare 5 hours for sleeping and the rest for studying.
8. If you have 30 minutes before going to bed, try to guess which topics your instructor might ask in the midterm.
9. Take another deep breath.
10. Go to bed.

After you take the exam and leave the class;

1. Make plans for studying for your exams and start working on your assignments weeks before the due date.
2. The minute you are given another assignment, act as if step 1 has never existed.
